Here’s the last batch of inspirations from Atlanta! Happy Friday – wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
I am all a flutter. A small group of beloved college friends from across the country (and, actually, across the pond) are descending on Minneapolis tomorrow for a weekend of… well, nothing in particular. Just a moment in time to connect, giggle (100% inevitable), cry (also inevitable), and generally wax poetic about everything… and nothing. There is simply no way I’d rather spend my time. So in homage to our Freshman year, a little musical trip down memory lane. Yellow Sky by Book of Love from their self-titled album, 1986.
I find myself obsessed with keeping my garden alive through these, the hottest days of summer. Nightly, mosquito-ridden watering rituals appear to be keeping the beauties in bloom, though I’m noticing the grass and ferns are already beginning their slow fade into fall (…can that really be?). So I have a bit of an appreciation for anything floral right now, and this lovely identity program by Hungarian designer Judit Besze made my heart go pitter patter…
I spent last week in Atlanta, attending the gift show and taking in some local shopping. A LOT of shopping… 1500 photos later, I have oodles of eye candy to share with you over the next couple weeks! Where did we visit? Check out this link if you’d like to see the stores (and more) list.
Here’s the first batch of pics!
Something fun for a Friday: a wonderful video by The Mercadantes celebrating the color in our lives.
