Home Tours – part 1

‘Tis the season for voyeuristic adventures through fancy houses! Yes, it’s tour time in the Twin Cities, where builders and designers open the doors to multi-million dollar mansions to give us a peek inside. And while the properties are out of reach for this particular blogger, I found myself totally inspired by the experiences. This week I’ll be sharing three different tours I attended over the past couple weeks.

First up is the Mpls. St. Paul Magazine & ASID’s (American Society of Interior Designers) 17th Annual Showcase Home Tour; where a number of fabulous designers (25, to be exact) team up with the homeowners to overhaul their space. This year’s home was a 4500 square foot, 1940’s gem located in Golden Valley’s Tyrol Hills neighborhood. Totally fun to see it all come together under one roof.
