Merci me!

A travelogue, if you will, of one of my favorite shops in Paris. (Hopefully you’ll get an overall sense of the experience despite the fact that my photos are totally imperfect.) Located in the Marais, Merci opened its doors in 2009 in a former 19th-century fabric factory. The building is charming, the cafe delightful and the curation of the goods – spectacularly inspiring. Here you’ll explore an amazing & eclectic array of housewares, stationery, clothing, furnishings, books and perfumes. But the most amazing thing about Merci is that ALL profits (oui – that said “all”) go to charity (specifically, a foundation that helps underprivileged women and children by providing them with skills they can use to improve their quality of life). Also, they ship to the US in case you’d like to have a little retail therapy yourself…
