Spring Summer 2013 Trend Preview from Patternbank

Love this look towards trends for spring 2013 by Patternbank, a global trend forecasting company based in the UK. They deliver innovative (and typically spot-on) forecasts, but my favorite thing about them is how incredibly affordable they are! £20 for a digital download makes them a fabulous resource, especially for freelancers. These totally inspiring print and graphics forecasts may have their roots in women’s fashion, but are also applicable in home and giftware categories as well.

  1. Hi there.
I’ve done a blog on the trends too, one section is the change in pattern over years ss12 vs ss13 and one has to do with the fashion side, could you take a look and comment?

  2. I came across this while doing my research on trends, it is verry sorry to see that a building which looks like a simplified Kaaba is being printed on skate board.

Putting an image like this in textile design trend book means its going to be replicated on a lot of designs/products, which is a very shamefull and disrespectfull act. This image needs to be edited or removed out of respect for religion.
This kind of design should not be entertained in any case for freedom of speech.

      1. Thank you for your respectful and timely response Blue Bergitt. I hope that we will all continue to respect each other’s beliefs and rights. Thank you again
