Last December, I stumbled upon a post on MPR’s site where you could download a tune or two from the soundtrack “Of Mirth and Mischief”; a play by Minneapolis storyteller Kevin Kling in which he recounts childhood tales in his amusing, poignant and entirely absorbing style. One of the tracks was a totally random take on “Jingle Bells” that became my holiday anthem last year; as the usual fare becomes quite monotonous. It gets off to a rocky start – but stick it out past the :25 second mark, and let me know what you think! Jingle Bells by James Diers & Aby Wolf from the Of Mirth and Mischief soundtrack.
