Working Class Studio

One of my favorite things about attending the New York Gift fair these days is seeing what’s new from Working Class Studios. A division of SCAD (the Savannah College of Art and Design), It’s the coolest thing ever: design students, alumni and faculty create the products that are then sold at boutique retailers throughout the US (so sorry – you can’t order on-line: links will take you to a local store finder instead). What a fab way to get real-work experience in the wild world of product design! (Are you listening, MCAD? Think about it, won’t you?) Here are a few of my top picks…
